Continuing Education Requirements: 36
hours of continuing education is required
for each three (3) renewal period.
The following courses must be completed
at the time of the first renewal to
maintain active status: 1).
12 hours of developing Professional
Ethical Practice, 2) 12 hours of Listing
Practices, 3). 12 hours of Buying
Practices. Distance learning courses
are NOT accepted for the first renewal
period.
Effective
for the second renewal period and
all renewals thereafter, the courses
(36 hours total) must be completed
at the time of renewal to maintain
active status. *18 hours
out of the required 36 hours may be
taken through distance learning.
Iowa
requires for the 36 hours, 1) 8 hours
- Law Update, 2) 4 hours - Ethics,
3) 24 hours of electives |
